c1900-A lot of 3 including 1) A 6.5" x 46" Panoramic photograph of the harbor and town. The photographer is indicated as Joe Mathews. Photo shows the harbor with various ships, the town, its buildings and its surrounding low hills. St. Michael is situated on the east side of St. Michael Island on the Norton Sound. It was founded in 1833 by the Russian-American Co. as a trading post for the indigenous Yupik people. During the gold rush of 1897, Fort St. Michael was established. It was estimated that as many as 10,000 people lived there in its heyday. Today the population is about 368. Overall good condition. Rare. 2) An 8" x 32" Panorama of the "Alaskan Yukon Picnic" from Lincoln Park. It is estimated this was taken in 1942, and is indicated as a Thompson Bartlett photo. Excellent condition. 3) An 8" x 32" city streets panorama, by Everett Wash, estimated date is 1919. HKA#63980
