Included in this lot we have a set of assorted western spurs originating from the early 20th century. The collection consists of one pair of nickel western spurs and two mismatched iron spurs made by August Buermann. The pair shows nickel construction with ten point rowel at the end of the shank. The spurs feature leather straps with off-white stitching and free of makers marks. The first of the single Buermann spurs shows iron construction with a ten point rowel at the end of the shank. It shows a patina of rust across the surface with chased designs etched into one of the sides. The final spur shows a simple iron design with a ten point rowel star at the end. The piece is unmarked and shows a leather strap. The set shows good condition overall with some wear on the pair of spurs and rust indicative of age on the second two. The pair measures 5 1/2" long by 3 1/2" at the widest, the chased spur measures 6" long by 3 1/4" wide, and the final spur measures 5 2/1" long by 3" wide.
