The book tells the story of the little boy riding into the prairie region alone and heartbroken after losing Bopy in an icy river. James gives a complete and varied idea of how a cowboy lives as he moves toward his remote objective, becoming an artist. The front cover shows a cowboy on top of a horse with his lasso in hand. This book shows very good condition and measures 8 1/2" long by 6" wide and 1 1/2" thick.
