This car was a race car. The original 427 block was ruined due to a rod penetrating the block which made the block no longer salvageable. The car currently has a 396/402 block with all the original L88 options back on the car. They just bolted right back up. Come look at the car this is a very rare race car. Back then winning races and making it to the strip was the priority so they used what they had laying around the shop which was a 396 block. Everything else is correct to the car.
