Item/Description: The 1939 New York World's Fair "Kan-O-Seat" cane seat is a vintage, collapsible walking stick, and stool souvenir manufactured by the Stafford-Johnson Seating Corporation in Ionia, Michigan. The design was patented in 1935, and the invention is now featured in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
