Featured in this lot is this Papago Indian hand woven Tohono O'oham, circa 1930's. The Papago Tohono O'odham (People of the Desert) are located in Arizona and are known for their weaving skills. This basket shows yucca construction with geometric designs across the piece and a nice tight weaving. The condition of this woven basket is fair, with a small break to the handle on the top of the basket lid. The measurements of this woven basket are 3 1/8" x 6 6/8" x 6 6/8".
