Featured in this lot we have a enlarged photograph of two Montana cattle ranchers by Barnes & Caplin. Barnes and Caplin where western photographers during the early to mid 1900's. They where known for their photos of cowboys, ranchers, and rural western life. This piece is a enlarged framed photo featuring a father and son in chaps and on horse back as they look over a herd of cattle with a windmill in the background. The piece is marked in the bottom right hand corner reading "Barnes & Caplin Albuquerque". The photo is set into a custom wood frame and shows good condition overall with the frame showing some wear due to age. The frame measures 50 1/2" wide by 26 3/4" tall.
