A large framed photograph of Private Albert Swifte, South Irish Horse, on horseback and memorial watercolour commemorating Swifte, also framed. Private Albert Swifte, son of Henry Albert and Elizabeth H. Swifte, of Killeagh County Cork was killed in action on 12 December 1917 while serving with the 7th (South Irish Horse) Battalion of the Royal Irish Regiment. He is buried in Templeux-le-Guerard British Cemetery, Somme, France. (2 items)
