Original screen used custom made 1967 Pontiac "GTO" with Missile Headlights for the production of the superhero film xXx (2002) The first installment in the XXX film series, the film stars Vin Diesel as Xander Cage, a thrill-seeking extreme sports enthusiast, stuntman and rebellious athlete-turned reluctant spy for the National Security Agency. The film also stars Asia Argento, Marton Csokas and Samuel L. Jackson.
A Pontiac LeMans was used and modified to resemble the GTO for the film.
For this car they installed heavy duty shock absorbers with a special suspension cross-support, four-wheel disc brakes, working side-pipes, and a 350 c.i.d. Chevy ZZ-4 crate motor. Custom features include air powered flip-down backseat to reveal a cash of prop weapons, electric spy license plate swap, air powered fold-down headlights, electric powered front missiles, rear view camera with monitor, custom James Bond style dash with all the buttons, gauges, bells and whistles, laptop computer, prop movie license plate, and neon light accents

Custom built for the movie by legendary car builder Eddie Paul with a custom paint job. Best known for his cars on the first two "Fast and the Furious" Movies and creating the mechanical prop shark for Discovery Channel's Shark Week program. Eddie Paul is an auto body expert whose work may be seen in such movies as "Grease", "Taxi", "XXX" and "Gone in 60 Seconds". He created custom vehicles which toured as Pixar characters Lightning McQueen, Mater and Sally to promote 2006 animated film Cars.
After the shoot the car was further modified by Eddie Paul who replaced some of the CGI aspects with physical spy props.
