Winchester model 21, 20ga, single trigger, auto ejector, 28-1/4” barrels, custom upgraded with finely engraved receiver that is Satin grey finished, select burl walnut checkered stocks, serial number 11778. Thegun is choked “Improved Cylinder” right, “Improved Modified” left. The gun shows a low-profile raised non-ventilated rib. The engraving is very European in style with scrolls and rosettes, and shows an Italianinfluence with engraving on the barrel. It is not signed. The stocking is very good quality with factory checkering, with panels on each side of action, good burl wood, with European type and squared pistol grip. Thegun shows a gold-inlaid oval pistol grip cap. Stock measures 13-3/8” to the end of the wood, 14-1/8” to the end of the hard-rubber pad. The gun remains in fine to excellent as reconditioned showing a few scratches in thestock and some minor use. No documentation, but we believe this to be a Pachmayr upgrade in the 1960’s.
