Manufactured from 1931 to 1959. This shotgun features a concave solid matte barrel rib (front sight is missing bead, mid-bead sight is present), 2 3/4" marked chambers, WS-2 and WS-1 marked chokes and ejectors. The left rear barrel is marked "WINCHESTER - 20 GAUGE / 2 3/4 CHAM." and the water table is marked with the Winchester oval proof, patent numbers, model and address. Marked "SKEET" on the trigger plate and matching serial number on the upper tang and barrel flat. Tang mounted automatic safety and single trigger with barrel selector. Nicely figured checkered walnut beavertail forearm and straight grip stock with vented Pachmayr White Line recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/8".
BBL: 28 inch solid rib
Serial Number: 13622
Condition: Very fine as modified. The shotgun retains 09% plus of the original blue finish with a number of minor scratches on the top of the breech end of the left barrel, thinning to plum on the muzzle ends, some minor scratches on the trigger guard plate and overall high edge wear. The wood is re-oiled, refinished with a small chip on the upper right side, signs of some light sanding on the left flat and crisp checkering. The recoil pad is added. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
