Very fine. The rifle retains 90% original finish with some thinning to a smooth plum on the barrel, some mild thinning on the underside of the receiver and high edge wear on the receiver. The refinished takedown ring shows a small amount of minor pitting (under the finish) and is a mix of original blue finish and artificial brown patina. The hammer and lever shoe strong traces of original faded case colors in protected areas with the balance having a smooth gray patina. The re-oiled wood remains fine with only a few light dings and handling marks. Crisp clear markings. The action is excellent.
