Offered for sale is a large western pinup girl will art piece. The piece depicts a girl in western clothes, painted in the traditional pinup style, sitting on a fence firing her revolver. It is signed R E Morris. World War II captured the pinnacle of pin-ups, as carefully designed by the U.S. government to boost morale by presenting an all-American view of the sweetheart waiting for him — the girls worth fighting for. These pin-up photos were found pasted inside barracks, hung in submarines, and tucked into soldiers’ pockets. Much like the pin-ups from the 1940s this piece has that All-American girl look. Overall it is in good condition. Measures: 48 " H x 56" W
