Cased double-action revolver manufactured by P. Webley & Son, circa 1904. Features a high polish blued finish, 7 1/2" octagonal barrel with sighting rib, pinned patridge front sight, drift adjustable target rear sight, fluted six shot cylinder, wide checkered trigger, removed lanyard ring, dry-firing hammer attachment, and two piece finely checkered walnut grips. Includes a British style oak display case with vintage PHILIP WEBLEY AND SON interior label, green baize lining, and four compartments with houses a rubbed coated brass cleaning rod, brass cleaning rod jag, nickel-plated front sight cover & a key. The barrel rib is marked "P. WEBLEY & SON. LONDON & BIRMINGHAM." and the left side of the top strap is marked ""WS" TARGET MODEL". The left side of the frame is marked "WEBLEY PATENTS" with a winged bullet trademark below the cylinder and a 'broad arrow' is found on the left side of the hammer. The barrel lug is marked with a crown/NP, crown/BP & crown/BV. The crown/BV can also be found on the left side frame and the crown/BP & crown/BV can be found on the cylinder. Serial number 447035 is stamped on the right side of the frame and the number 035 is stamped on both the barrel & the rear face of the cylinder. Revolver retains approximately 70% of it's original commercial blue finish showing moderate handling wear, vice marks on both sides of the barrel, and high point edge wear. The grip frame and trigger guard exhibits higher wear with these areas turned to a light grey patina. Action is sound with solid lock-up, bore is excellent and walnut stocks are good with worn checkering, a repair to the top of the right panel & some light dings to the bottom of the grips.
