WWI Era British military top-break double action service revolver chambered for .455 Webley, dated 1915. Features a blued finish, 6" barrel, reproduction bayonet & scabbard, patridge front sight, notched rear sight on the barrel catch, 'shaved' six shot cylinder that measures 1.446" long, square-butt frame with lanyard ring, and two-piece diamond checkered hard rubber grips. The frame is stamped "LT E ROSS" & "7H1.1" with "COWPER' lined-out, and is also marked "ENGLAND" & stamped with English proofs The serial numbers match on the frame, barrel and cylinder. Includes a single shot .22 Long conversioin unit marked ".22 L/MARK VI/.22 RIM FIRE LONG", [W&S bullet logo], "2146" & "WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD/LONDON & BIRMINGHAM." The revolver exhibits approximately 60% of it's blued refinish showing holster wear, thinning and some pin prick pitting under the finish. Action is sound with good lock-up, bore is pristine, markings are very good and the hard rubber grips are very good with minor losses.
