1) Staff sergeant's CBI Ike jacket size 38R. Both sleeves have staff sergeant chevrons, with a bullion CBI patch on the left shoulder and 5 service bars on the left sleeve. Ruptured Duck honorable discharge patch on the right chest and two rows of service ribbons (European Theater Campaign ribbon, American Defense Service ribbon with star, Good Conduct ribbon, WWII Victory ribbon, and unidentified ribbon). Inside of the jacket is marked "V-9715". The group includes a staff sergeant rank patch. 2) British trousers stamped "B.K.1941" on the inside with elastic cuffs. With two canvas belts and a lanyard. 3) Silk scarf made from a parachute marked "U.S. ARMY". 4) Two garrison caps (one has a brass disc Army insignia). 5) Khaki shirt with provisions for a snap attaching left shoulder patch. With tie. 6) U.S. Army enlisted cap made by Bancroft. 7) Enlisted service coat. Enlisted disc lapel insignia with private chevron on both sleeves. Second Service Command patch on the left shoulder and 5 service straps and a hash stripe on the left sleeve. 8) U.S. Navy W-1 flight shirt made by the Drybak Corporation size 17. Items 1-6 belonged to Solis Finkel who was attached to the 14th Air Force during the Second World War. Four photographs of Finkel are included. One photograph shows him wearing the British trousers (#2). Letters from Finkel confirm that he was assigned the 14th Air Force and the trousers were given to him by the British since American supplies hadn't caught up to his group which was stationed in the Northwest Frontier of India.

Condition: 1) Very good, with a few moth holes and some scattered wear. CBI patch not attached to shoulder. 2) Very good, with some minor stains. 3) Good, with some stains. 4) Fair as worn. 5) Poor, showing thinning of the material. 6) Poor with month holes. 7) Fair, with some loss of material. 8) Very good, with a minor tear and a few patches of unknown residue.
