Description This Fantastic Antique, Jewelry Box-Features A Fragonard Hand Painted Porcelain Cabochon Depicting A Courting Couple. The Cabochon Is Surrounded By Gold-tone Gilt Metal And A Beautiful Blue Enamel. The Sides Are Done In A Gold-tone Gilt Metal. The Inside Lid Has An Embossed Pattern While The Bottom Is Lined With A Red Velvet. The Outside Bottom Has An Embossed Pattern And Hallmarked Japan. It Stands On Four Feet. It Is In Very Good Vintage Condition. The Porcelain Cabochon Is In Excellent Condition As Well As The Inside Lining (almost Looks Unused). The Gold-tone Detailing Has Some Discoloration Commensurate With Age. This Would Make A Fantastic Piece For Your Wedding Rings On Your Dresser Or Nightstand.
