At no point Before Christ were any inscriptions with the name of kings either on stone or metal known from Vidisha. This coin is the first such instance wherein the name of a king or chieftain has been struck on a coin. This coin has come to light for the first time in Indian history and thereby this king has been introduced in Indian history.
