An unusual right hook miners' candlestick manufactured by Nathan E. Varney in the 1880s. The Varney candlesticks are some of the more widely collected and popular candlesticks. This particular one is probably one of the first. It has an open handle (3 inches in diameter) and unique thimble and attached hook which are strong characteristics of Varney candlesticks. It is 12.25 inches long. State: City: Date:1880s ID#45325
