Unique American Indian pipe made to resemble war club, circa approx. 1875, possibly Sioux. The pipe measures 34” from tip to end. The bowl portion measures approx. 5-1/2” from bowl to tip. The body of the shaft isornamented with beadwork in multicolors and trimmed with quill work. The condition is very good to near fine with a nice patina. The pipe is made in such a way that it could also be used for a club (at least once).Provenance: Jimmy Hart collection. Est: $4,000 - $8,000
