U.S. Springfield trapdoor conversion rifle, .50 caliber, 32.5” barrel, S/N 10,000, (at rear right side of barrel and adjacent to same number at front right side of receiver); full stock, iron ramrod, sling swivels inoverall very good + condition displaying a pleasing patina to metal surfaces, very good bore, crisp action and markings, 1863-dated lock plate and very good + wood stock with partial inspector’s cartouche on left side of stock and small “L” inspection on the underside of the butt stock.
