A) Manufactured from 1870 to 1890. Standard two line Hartford barrel address flanked by Maltese crosses with "No. 1" at the breech. Matching numbers on barrel and frame. Frame has the standard light scroll engraving with the grip area having checkered panels.

Condition: Good. The derringer has been cleaned with traces of original nickel finish with the balance a smooth bright gray. There is some minor pitting. Barrel is slightly loose, otherwise action functions properly.

B) Manufactured circa 1875-1912. Top of barrel marked "-COLT-" in large italicized letter and serial number is on the left side of the frame under the grip. Bulbuous style frame and high hammer.

Condition: Good. The barrel has a mottled gray patina with some scattered pin point pitting. The frame has an even aged brass patina with traces of original silver plating in the protected areas. The grips are very fine with some minor high edge wear and some scattered minor handling marks along with a small chip missing from the left panel near the bottom. Mechanically functions, but hammer spring is weak.
