(Disneyland, c.1954-1980s) This collection of over 300 postcards is Farago's personal collection, and represents some of the rarest and most sought after early Disneyland postcards. The collection includes such cards as the card dubbed "#0001" which was the first card issued for Disneyland, the black and white German cards from 1956, the "Happy Memories" gold medallion card, Art Corner "squeaker" cards, lenticular cards, the ultra-rare "Silver Banjo Card" from Don DeFore's Silver Banjo Restaurant, and many more. This collection is the result of decades of research, persistence, and passion, and is an amazing feat of collecting that would be almost impossible to duplicate today. In addition to Farago's postcard collection, this set includes Farago's 1979 checklist which is signed by Farago and LeRoque as well as the 1982 supplement to that checklist, first and second hardcover editions of "The Nickel Tour", and one of Farago's postcard collecting business cards. Due to the large variety of cards in this collection, the condition of each card can vary, however the set is in overall very good condition. The full breadth of this collection can only truly be viewed in person, but please inquire for any information regarding specific cards.
