Terminator2 Robert Patrick Morphed LA Police Uniform
In "Terminator 2" (1991), the Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) comes back to kill the child, John (Edward Furlong), being that he was after the mother the first time around. One of the great additions to the cast is another cyborg from the future, T-1000 (Robert Patrick). A magnificently inspired piece of casting, Patrick’s stone face, and amazing physical presence and agility (his running was not computer enhanced!), brought the perfect foil to the Terminator, and created a terrifying enemy (he has consistently been voted one of the top 100 movie villains of all time). His created a character that could be slowed down, but it seemed, never stopped. Once back from the future, T-1000 shape-shifts into a Los Angeles Policeman. In several classic chase scenes the Terminator tries to stop him with his shotgun. The blasts create massive craters in T-1000’s “liquid metal”. The most popular of these chases is down a suburban street where the Terminator is driving a police car, with Sarah and John inside. They are being chased by T-1000. At one point, T-1000 turns his hands into hooks, and uses them to grab onto the back bumper of the car, then crawl up and start smashing the windows. This hero screen used LA Police shirt and badge are from that scene. The shirt has 15 bullet splatter-hits on the shirt of various sizes (from 4X4 to 1x1), plus one of the hooks (from his right “hand”). The end of the hook has been broken off, as it was in the movie when the Terminator pulls himself out the window of the speeding car, turns around, then fires his shotgun into T-1000’s right hook. It also comes with T-1000's LA Police Department badge which he wore on his shirt, complete with a 1x1 bullet hit. The shirt is professional displayed on a beautiful silver headless mannequin stand (approx 52” high), along with a separate 16” Plexiglas display with the hero screen-used badge attached , along with a framed screen shot from the movie and an engraved white letter on black background legend. This set is truly museum quality and a must for the serious collector. A true find! Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity for both the Shirt and Arm, and the LA Police Badge. Oversized item. Additional postage required.
