Perhaps no "coming of age" film found a better metaphor to show the changes that comes during adolescence than "Teen Wolf". It's one thing to look in the bathroom mirror and see the beginnings of a beard, or a pimple, it's quite another to see yourself turning into a werewolf! The 1985 film starring Michael J. Fox struck a cord with its audience, and became a smash hit. Perhaps the most remembered scene is Michael's "coming out", during a high school basketball game where he turns into a werewolf in front of the whole student body. And now have super wolf strength, becomes a super player, winning the game, and finding acceptance with his peers! This is the specially constructed body suit, made for Fox. It is constructed of real hair. Each strand has been individually threaded into a latex and weave body suit. The wolf suit has been displayed on a custom made cable-wired mannequin frame, which allows total movement of arms and legs. An exact replica of Fox's Beaver yellow jersey has been included, along with a reproductions of his socks and basketball shoes. The body suit was so expensive to originally create that it was used again, in the sequel "Teen Wolf Too" (1987), in which Jason Bateman is the student with the werewolf problem. In this film, he turns into a furry beast during a college boxing match! This iconic piece makes for an amazing and instantly recognizable display!(Body Suit is approx. 66" high). Basketball not included! Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
