For bidding in this lot is a Stevens Model 1915 Favorite Rifle, with a falling block (pivot-block), lever action. The Stevens Model 1915 dates between 1915, and 1935. The Stevens products were manufactured with an "SVG" logo after 1928, dating this particular firearm to 1915 and 1928. The rifle is chambered in .22 and features a blue'd 22 3/4" full-round barrel, and blue'd receiver, and butt plate. Additionally, the rifle utilizes a gorgeous walnut stock. The rifle is marked in multiple spots, reading; "Trade Mark - Favorite - REG U.S. PAT. OFF..." on the top of the receiver, "Model 1915" on the upper-tang, serial number "D647" on the lower-tang, and a proof mark with a "1" inside of a circle, on the on the top left of the receiver. Overall, the rifle shows good condition, with strong blueing, and a bright bore, with good rifling. The rifle has some slight wear indicative of age. The action shows good condition, with play. The rifle has been drilled and tapped for a scope, and is absent of its rear fixed sight. The rifle dates between 1915 - 1927, and qualifies as Curio & Relic.
