Springfield Model 1903 U.S. Marine Corp. sniper rifle, .30-06 cal., serial #1493201, with J. Unertl and USMC sniper marked scope, serial #2675. The barrel is Springfield Armory marked, dated 3/38 with star gauge at2 o'clock on muzzle crown. Bolt rails and bolt are polished; the rifle shows C stock with heavy grooved National Match butt plate. The stock shows no cartouches, but shows a S stamp just below magazine cutoff, and thestock and handguard show a drawing number (the drawing number on the stock is D1836). Our consigner states it was bought by a U.S.M.C. Officer from Marine Corp. Supply Depot, Barstow, CA in the 1950s. Thecondition is fine to near excellent, with just some slight use, good action, excellent bore. A USMC stamped leather sling and original carrying tube for scope is included. From a major sniper rifle collector whohimself was a Marine Corp. Officer and his son a Marine Corp. sniper, both with a tradition of collecting going back nearly 50 years. Est.: $6,000-$12,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
