Manufactured from 1913 to 1912. Fixed sights, with the one line caliber marking on the left side of the barrel, the S&W trademark on the left and right sides of the frame, and the two line address/patent information on top of the receiver. The two digit serial number (36) is marked on the front grip strap. Fitted with smooth walnut grips with S&W medallions at the tops.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 90% original blue finish with some thinning to a gray patina (mostly on the barrel, receiver and back strap). There is a series of minor notches near the safety. The grips are refinished with most of the varnish remaining and some minor handling marks.
