Further information shows his birth date as 1894 Pleasanton TX, died 1952, gun purchased at 2012 auction and consigned by the family, Roy Jinks Smith and Wesson letter statesrevolver was shipped to New York, 4" barrel and nickel finish. The revolver now shows a dull gray cleaned finish with checkered walnut or rosewood grips, sharp barrel address and functioning action with fair togood bore. Interesting revolver, includes research.
