Smith & Wesson .32 Hand Ejector SN: 230783
'Model of 1903 5th Change' Engraved small frame double action revolver chambered in .32 Smith & Wesson Long, circa 1910-1917. Features a blued finish, pinned 4 1/4" barrel with forged round blade front sight, 'u' notched rear sight, non-shrouded ejector rod, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, fluted six-shot cylinder, round butt I frame and two-piece fancy checkered black hard rubber grips with S&W insignias. Engraving is done in a simple scroll pattern primarily composed of outlines with very little detail, inscribed "'76'/ENG. G. NORMAN" in block letters on the barrel & "ES" in script on the right side of the frame. Revolver appears to have been refinished after the engraving and shows some scattered oxidation with little wear observed. The cylinder has turned plum. Action is smooth but the trigger does not consistently fully reset on it's own, bore is bright showing good rifling & some scattered surface rust and the hard rubber grips show repairs to both panels & a small loss on the top of the left grip. Condition is NRA good as refinished. ***C&R Firearm***
