Sioux War Shirt, Moccasins and Pipebag made by Victoria Standing Bear-Conroy (1866-1935). War Shirt: 32" long. 3" beaded panels on shoulders, front and back. Wonderfully fringed. Moccasins: 11" long. Beaded uppers in bold colors. Beaded split tongue finished in feather-stuffed tin cones. Pipebag: 21" long x 8" wide. Beaded designs differ from side to side. 6.5" of parfleche slats, finely wrapped in dyed quillwork. 9" of fringe. Tassels and body are adorned with feather-stuffed tin cones.
