Excellent plus, with 99% of the bright original bronzed finish, turning gray on the muzzle, a pencil-width patch of minor pitting on the right side and sharply defined gray lines. Casehardened parts have silvered out, with a patch of vivid original color behind the rear sight. Fine silver, with the breech bands turned an untouched black and a dark antique color on the coin parts. Fine grip, with a crack running across the left side and scattered dents and varnish loss. Mechanically very good. One of the most attractively finished Deringers we have ever sold.
