This lot offers you three Navajo Native American Indian bolo ties. Two of the three bolo ties are composed entirely of sterling silver, and turquoise. The third bolo is Royston turquoise, and oxblood coral, with a beautiful floral motif laid over the stones. Additionally, it has silver leaf drops dangling from the aglets. The floral bolo with the coral is stamped on the back with Navajo hallmark "L Platero", attributing it to expert Navajo silversmith, Lena Platero. The next bolo shows a silver base, with a slithering snake making its way through two nice nuggets of Pauite turquoise. This bolo is signed on the back with the hallmark of Navajo Silversmith Sarah Chee, which simply shows an "S". The third, and last bolo has 14 small nuggets of blue gem turquoise, set tightly into four rows, with four in each of the top two rows, and three on each of the bottom two rows. The bolo is further decorated with concentric sunflare patterns. This bolo is stamped "MFC", which is the hallmark of Navajo silversmiths Maryann & Felix Chavez. All of the three bolos are in good condition overall, with a nice warm silver patina, and tightly set stones. The bolos are all similar in size, though the snake motif bolo by Sarah Chee is the largest, measuring; 1 1/2" wide, and 2" tall.
