Martially marked antique lever action percussion revolver chambered for .36 caliber ammunition, circa 1861-1865. The Union purchased just under 12,000 of these unique revolvers during the Civil War for the Army & Navy. Features a blued finish, 7" octagon barrel, mushroomed brass cone front sight, fixed 'v' notched rear sight, loading lever, non-fluted six-shot cylinder, smooth trigger, ring lever, heart shaped trigger guard, smooth hammer spur and two-piece smooth walnut grips. Stamped with inspector mark "T" in several places. Revolver exhibits approximately 70% of it's old refinish showing honest wear. Action is mechanically sound, bore is pristine, markings are very good and the wood grips are very good with some small losses. Condition is NRA Very Good. ***Antique Firearm***
