He soon started drawing cartoons for the camp newspaper and quickly graduated to the * animation department of the Air Force's motion picture unit. It was here that he worked with several Walt Disney artists who were working with military as civilians. Returning to New York, he attended the Arts Students' League for five years. * * * Robert Lebron developed his own personal technique during an extensive stay in Spain.
