Remington model 1887 Navy-framed .32 S&W centerfire caliber target pistol or “plinker”, serial #474. Illustrated Remington Rolling Block Pistols, page 126. The pistol remains in very good original condition showing 30-50% original blue drifting to brown on barrel with some light erosion and pinprick pitting starting towards the muzzle. A few scratches and dings around the rear sight area. The Remington barrel address is good. The frame shows a patina finish with some light erosion and traces of original blue where protected. The Remington address on left side of frame is good. The right side of frame shows proof and acceptance stamps. The stocks are good with a few dings, mars, and scratches. The action is good, the bore is very good. The pistol shows original to the period target sights. One of approx. 100 produced on the Navy frame and only about 30 made in this caliber. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
