Ratz Movemet - 2 photos of Yossi Sarid and poster sketch in Arabic, and 8 photos of banners and demonstrations that followed the resignation of the Shin Bet (the Bus 300 affair). The two photos show Yossi Sarid, one of the leaders of the movement in the early 1980s and during the 1990s (Meretz Movement). In one of them he appears with Abie Nathan when the latter was a prisoner in the Ma'asiyahu prison in 1991, dimensions: 17.5x12.5 cm. In the sketch there are photos of Sarid and Raanan Cohen, dimensions: 21X30 cm. The photographs relating to the Bus 300 affair, there are banners of the Moledet movement and a photograph from a demonstration. Dimensions: 18x13 cm. *The Bus 300 affair or the Shin Bet affair took place in 1984 and lasted two and a half years, beginning with the abduction of bus passengers by Palestinian terrorists in order to negotiate terms and later their release in military action and the ongoing investigation of the conduct of the Shin Bet men who killed two terrorists after their capture and lied in their testimony about the circumstances of their deaths. The affair generated a serious crisis in the Shin Bet and in its relations with other governmental departments, and to the resignation of the Shin Bet director and other senior officials. * Ratz - the civil rights movement - a left-wing party that operated from the 1970s until the 1990s. The Ratz party was established by Shulamit Aloni before the elections for the Eighth Knesset in 1973. It advocated the protection of civil rights and human rights, the separation of religion and state, and change in the electoral system. Gradually, the idea of ??withdrawal from Judea, Samaria and Gaza was also developed in the movement, and this was reflected in the change of its name to the Civil Rights and Peace movement. During the 11th Knesset's term, MKs Yossi Sarid, who resigned from the Maarach party in the wake of the First Lebanon War, and Mordechai Warshawski, who resigned from the collapsing Shinui party, joined the growing party list. Toward the end of the 12th Knesset's term, the Ratz party united with Mapam and Shinui, forming the United Meretz party, which was headed by Shulamit Aloni for many years. In 1996 she was replaced by Yossi Sarid who won internal party elections, in which Shulamit Aloni chose not to participate after realizing that she did not have a substantial chance of winning.
