Rare German hand wind musical mechanical vignette with original Brussels label from the Hanne Buktas Collection of Vienna, Austria. 15" wide X 14" high. Having wooden platform with elaborate gazebo of branches and leaves in which a baby carriage with spoke metal wheels, when wound the girl and carriage move forward and back in fitted platform slit, while the girl turns her head, and baby in carriage sits up and lays down waving her arms. Excellent working mechanism and music function. A faint stamp reads P&J Quillet, Foire de Leipzig, 34 Rue de Bruxelles. Circa 1890. Auction estimate $1800.00-$2500.00

Shipping Details:
• We ship worldwide.
• Items are packaged in house the week after the sale.
• ITems are shipped the Friday after the sale through Canada Post.
• Items too large for postal shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.
• Items picked up from the sales room, within 7 days after completion of the auction, by the buyer or a representative of the buyer will not incur any handling fees from Ward’s Auctions.
• Buyers must notify Ward’s Auctions within 24 hours after the completion of the auction, if they plan to pick up their purchases or have them shipped.
Payment Details:
Payment MUST be made in Canadian (CAD) currencies.
Full payment for purchases, including buyers premium and taxes is due within 24 hours of the auction completion. This amount will be charged to the credit card used to register if other payment has not arrived. If your credit card is declined you will need special permission to register for future auctions.
All items incur a 20% buyers premium and
Visa and Mastercard payments are subject to an additional 3% charge.
GST is charged for all items sold within Canada.
Once the item has been sold, it is the winning bidders property and must be removed or picked up from the premises within 7 days. After which a daily holding charge of $20 will incur and the item may be auctioned again to cover the holding charge.
