Stanislaw Toegel (Polish 1905-1953) was a POW of the Germans who escaped and became an underground fighter. These caricatures were published in "Hitleriada Furiosa" and "Hitleriada Macabra" shortly after his liberation from Goettingen labor camp. This grouping features Nazi brutality plus some depicting Hitler adrift in a barrel. Titled prints include, "Investigations on a 16 year old girl", "Germany will never surrender" and "The old glory". The fourth untitled print depicts Hitler being led away by the grim reaper. All prints are mounted on heavy grey paper where they are titled (some have no title) in Polish, English and French. Good to Very good condition with some corner issues.
