Two items related to Queen Victoria's coronation: an issue of The Globe and Traveller newspaper from the day of Queen Victoria's coronation, June 28, 1838, four pages, 16.75 x 24, featuring a headline in the third column, "Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Victoria This Day," with an article containing a description of "The State of the Metropolis This Morning"; and a printed two-page pamphlet, 8 x 13.5, featuring large text on the title page, "The Earl Marshal's Orders concerning The Robes, Coronets, &c. which are to be worn by the Peers and Peeresses at The Coronation of Her Most Sacred Majesty Queen Victoria," describing the types and colors of the clothing to be worn by the Royalty in attendance at the coronation. In overall very good to fine condition, with intersecting folds and small separations to both pieces, and an ownership inscription at the head of the newspaper.
