Handwritten lyrics for the chorus of 'Mr. Goodnight' entirely in Prince's hand, one page, 6 x 9, no date but circa 2007; he evidently wrote these out for a background singer during his 3121 shows. In full: "Call Mr. Goodnight / He'll make u feel alright / Make u throw ur head back & / holla it's so nice it's so nice / Betta not tell ur girlfriend / U can try with all ur might / Just can't keep a secret / about Goodnight, goodnight." In the upper right corner, he adds: "Coka Cola, that's right, 3121." In fine condition. Includes a Planet Earth CD, which features this song as track six. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from REAL, as well as a a letter of authenticity from Jeff Gold, the owner of Recordmecca and a former executive vice president/general manager of Warner Bros. Records, who worked closely with Prince during the 1990s, and art directed numerous album covers for him, including ‘Diamonds & Pearls,’ ’Love Symbol,’ and ‘The Hits/The B-Sides.’ He writes, in part: "This letter is to authenticate a page with Prince’s handwritten lyrics for the chorus of the song 'Mr Goodnight' from his 2007 album Planet Earth. Prince wrote these out for a background singer, during his 2007 run of 3121 at the Rio concerts in Las Vegas."
