This is an example of a scarce pre-war High Power Pistol with the combination leather holster/walnut board stock. The left side of the slide has the two-line Herstal address marking over "BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE", with Belgian proofs stamped on the slide, frame and chamber. Matching numbers stacked on the slide and frame. Equipped with a tangent rear sight, slotted back strap and fitted with checkered grips. Comes with a wooden shoulder stock with a leather holster attached with copper rivets that has a small "crown/GC" proof, on the backside and a boxed "C" proof on the attaching iron.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 85% original blue finish showing blue loss on the edges and high spots overall, the front edges of the slide and on the grip straps, mixed with a brown patina. There are a few small patches of pin point pitting on the edges of the front grip strap. The grips are with a few minor handling marks and a few areas of wear in the overall crisp checkering. The stock is fine with some minor handling marks and the holster is very good plus showing some minor flex wear and handling marks.
