Philadelphia derringer, closely copied after Henry Deringer, with point at bottom of escutcheon surround lockplate screw indicating possible manufacture by Slotter. The derringer shows a 1-5/8” octagon to round barrel with 6-groove rifling of approx. .44 caliber. The metal surfaces show a grey patina with some light to moderate pitting and erosion. The stocks are good with darkening and even wear. The German Silvermounts are nicely engraved. The escutcheon at top of wrist is a close copy of Deringer. The hammer screw has sheered and is missing. The action is working. We will replace the hammer screw at no charge to the successfulbuyer. Est: $700 - $1,400
