Hall of Famer (1903-1965), nicknamed ‘Big Poison,’ who captured three National League batting titles and became a member of the exclusive 3,000 hit club. Vintage glossy 7.5 x 10.25 photo, signed and inscribed in blue ink in a somewhat convoluted order, “Paul Waner. Jim Wiggins, Best Regards.” In very good condition, with uniform vertical stain down the center of the photo, chipping to some of the emulsion (in part done as Waner retraced his name), and the faint impression of another Waner signature incurred as Waner was autographing an item on top of this photo.
