Manufactured in 1893. Single bead sight on a concave solid rib marked "PARKER BROTHERS, MERIDEN, CONN. VULCAN STEEL". 2 3/4" chambers, choked modified/improved modified, and an extractor. The barrel is numbered to a different gun (129223). The watertable has the 1887 and 1889 patent dates with "3" over the serial number over "D / MAR. 16, 1875". The casehardened action features a scroll engraving with a dog and "PARKER BROS" in a banner on each side and game birds on the underside. The scrollwork extends to the break lever and trigger guard. Double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety. The forearm is numbered to the barrels and has the 1878 patent date on the hardware. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, initial oval, and skeletonized steel buttplate. LOP 14".

Condition: Good. The barrels retain traces of original blue finish in the protected areas with the balance a smooth brown patina. The frame retains strong traces of original case colors on the watertable with the balance a smooth gray patina. The trigger guard has a mottled gray patina. There is some very scattered minor pitting. The forearm is fair with a few minor handling marks with re-cut checkering. The buttstock is very good with numerous minor dings, pressure marks and scratches with some minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
