Approximately 204, 20-gauge Parker PH Grade shotguns were produced. This example has dual bead sights on a solid barrel rib with no visible maker marking. 2 3/4" chambers and choked modified/improved cylinder with an extractor. The light scroll engraved casehardened action is marked "PARKER BROS." on both sides with the 1887 and 1889 patent dates on the water table. Double triggers and automatic tang safety. Checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with grip cap, hard rubber grip cap and dog head buttplate and initial shield. LOP 14 1/4".

Condition: Refinished. The barrels retain over 90% of the blue finish showing some thinning to a brown with some minor spotting. The action surfaces have a smooth cleaned gray patina with traces of original case colors remaining. The wood is fine with some minor scratches and pressure marks along with a putty filled repair near the upper tang. A minor chip is missing on the buttplate near the toe. The checkering is crisp as recut.
