A pair of 3-dimensional Ch'ing Dynasty carving depicts a Chinese Mandarin/lady in a courtyard setting. They are carved in fine, deep details. The original paint is well-preserved & has acquired an attractive patina. The pieces were salvaged from a temple that was completed in the early 1840s & demolished in the early 1960s.
