Pair of Colt Peacemaker Single Action revolvers in Colt presentation wood case with plaque on lid inscribed “Mel Torme, Author – Musician – Producer, From Colt’s Firearms, January 1971”. The first gun is in .22LR cal., 4-3/4” barrel, blueand case hardened finish, checkered black hard rubber eagle grips, #G10013. The second gun has all the same features and is consecutively serial numbered G10014; both guns are in like new condition showing little handling and displayingbright blue finish on the barrel assemblies and cylinders with vivid case colors on the frames. The casing is in overall very good condition with some minor scratches from storage. Accompanying the set is a Guns & Ammo Special 500th Issue (Nov. 2001) with an article on entertainers that collected guns, including Mel Torme and a photo of Mel with legendary firearms dealer Herb Glass, Sr. A beautiful pair of Peacemakers originally from the collection of a noted vocal artist.(C&R).
