You are bidding on a pair of rare Heywood Wakefield bent wood dinning room chairs. These chairs were made in the Gardner, Mass. plant circa 1940. The chairs both have tags and codes identifying them on the seat bottom. The code "C3535C" denotes dinning chair with arms. One chair is upholstered in a green leatherette upholstery that looks to be original, as it is very worn. The other chair has been stripped of its upholstery. Both chairs have what appear to be white paint drippings on the arms. The upholstered chair also has a chipped rear leg, as photographed. These chairs are otherwise solid and have a cool early Mid-Century look. The chairs measure 21" wide by 19.5" deep and stand 34" tall.
