Little Oscar white cotton chef jacket sized for a small person with white buttons along the front closure and an applied rectangular “Oscar Meyer” logo patch at the center chest worn circa 1950s and beyond by actor Jerry Maren, who was advertised as being, “the world’s smallest chef.” During the same era, Maren as Little Oscar made numerous personal appearances with the 27-foot-long Oscar Meyer Wienermobile. Mr. Oscar Meyer personally created the character of the small chef in the 1930s, and equally noteworthy is the fact that Mr. Maren had previously played the role of a Lollipop Guild munchkin in the film, The Wizard of Oz (MGM, 1939). Acquired from Mr. Jerry Maren.
